Our mission statement is "People Caring for People", our staff are very dedicated to our residents and are dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. We are a skilled nursing facility that provides 24 hour nursing care and we also have a secured unit that specializes in Alzheimer's and dementia care. We are community owned facility that takes pride in the level of care we provide to our residents from inpatient to outpatient rehab, skilled nursing care, respite and hospice care. We offer a daily exercise and restorative program for our residents. We also provide daily activities for our residents ranging from live music, bible studies, bake and taste, bingo, and many other programs. It is our goal to assist residents to reach their highest level of independence in a safe, home-like environment. As we care for our residents we also strive to build relationships with each of them and their families.

The facility accepts Medicare and Medicaid. Palisade Healthcare Community is a licensed care provider with the State of South Dakota. The South Dakota Department of Health provides a list of registered care providers in South Dakota.
