Kindred Hospital Louisville is a transitional care hospital providing specialized long-term acute care to medically complex patients requiring continued care and extended recovery time. Our hospital is dedicated to providing quality care to patients requiring specialized acute hospital services. Our interdisciplinary expertise in respiratory and wound care is essential to our strong emphasis on caring for patients who may need longer acute care hospitalization. Kindred Hospital Louisville is accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Kentucky. Medicare, Medicaid and other health insurance carriers (Humana, Anthem, Cigna, Aetna, etc.) cover our inpatient and outpatient services. We also have a satellite facility: Kindred Hospital Louisville at Jewish Hospital.     This place sucks. Dirty & understaffed. My mother recieved very poor care. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!
